O. Henry, the fictionist popular for his surprise endings wrote this 2nd volume of his short fiction. There are 25 classical tales such as a few of his outstanding writings including The Gift of the Magi and The Cop and the Anthem. The title of the story discusses to the past civilization of New York City where some of his tales took place. Other cultures lashed the idea that there were only 400 inhabitants in New York City who were actually of merit and of significance. Even though O. Henry sensed that all the people in New York were all important and had their own life story which narrates the subject of this set of concise tales of the Four Million. To O. Henry, all New Yorkers are recognized. Each one had their own unique individuality.

William Sydney Porter popular by his pseudonym O. Henry, was a United States author primarily of children’s stories. His tales are well known for their bittersweet finales. O. Henry’s pieces is all-inclusive, and his rolls can be seen meandering around the farmlands of Texas, discovering the craft of the flimflammer, or fact-finding the strains of society and prestige in sophisticated New York.
