He later becomes obsessed with regaining the stopper, after it is, in turn, stolen from him as well. This is the point where the story really gets interesting, and where we see Lupin’s charm, sharp mind and integrity – as he works toward helping one of his past associates escape, when he is faced with a death sentence for being in league with him – hard at work, as he faces worthy adversaries such as Deputy Daubrecq.

A fascinating and exciting tale of adventure and a thrilling book that will keep you at the edge of your seat on a constant basis, The Crystal Stopper will definitely be one of the most entertaining Leblanc stories you may have read.
