Colonel George Durston was an imaginary writer made up by the Saalfield Publishing Company, who was attributed with the composition of different American series stories.

George Durston is attributed for the Boy Scouts series, 24 volumes primarily released by Saalfield from 1912 to 1919. Ghostwriters for the series were Frederick Dey, J.W. Duffield, William A. Wolf, and Georgia Roberts Durston. Col. Durston was also attributed with the Potter Brother stories, which was seen in the six-book Stars and Stripes Series.
