James Arthur “Jimmy” Baldwin was a US novelist and social polemic. Many of his essays are compiled in a book form, for example, The Fire Next Time, No Name in the Street, and The Devil Finds Work. His novel, Remember This House, was never completed but made into a film adaptation as the Academy Award-nominated documentary, I Am Not Your Negro.
