Booker T. Washington delivered speeches in the Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute which is now called as Tuskegee University. Tuskegee is historically, a black school in Alabama. His speeches were addressed to the students and faculty members of the school. It is converted into a book titled, Character Building, where he gave meaningful tips and advices on how to further shape your character.

He was among the highest leaders in advocating the civil rights of the African-American. He was born into enslavement and freed from it when he was at a young age. He was well-educated and later became a principal of Tuskegee. He imposed excellent moral standards and the best education for all the students.

Booker Taliaferro Washington was an American professor, author, orator and advisor to the American presidents. He was a main enthusiast of African-American businesses and among the founders of the National Negro Business League.
