Nor does he realize at first that the girl he falls for is none other than the daughter of the millionaire who happens to own the hotel – and who, of course, can’t stand him.

The story also introduces Lucille – one of Wodehouse’s most prolific female characters. Her and Archie basically stand against the stern father-in-law trying to win him over, but only managing to get Archie deeper and deeper into trouble.

If you’ve read and enjoyed any of the other novels written by the famous author, this is surely one you shouldn’t miss.
