John Henry Haaren was a United States professor and historian. His father was German and his mother was both Irish and British. He attended the Columbia University under Prof. N. M. Butler at Columbia University, before becoming a professor in New York. He was an Associate Superintendent of Schools in New York, enlisting more preschoolers and foreign students.

He was director of the department of pedagogy in the Brooklyn Institute. Haaren High School in Manhattan was given title in his credit. The Charles B. J. Snyder educational institution which was firstly DeWitt Clinton High School is now known as Haaren Hall on the campus of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Southern Europe is a small country known as Greece where its inhabitants are referred as Greeks, they have dwelled for thousands of years. They presumed that Gods were real and they happened to live before them. Greeks recalled the myths and legends of these deities and their daily occurrences throughout their stay.
