Description

It is a very descriptive story that aims to show inner city life, and depict the emotions and feelings of those striving for social mobility, amidst the challenges of the urban environment they inhabit. Thus, the book intends to rouse a profound and commonly shared empathy in the public consciousness. In addition to this, the book seeks to make a constructive impact on the class of people the author writes about. It does this by laying out in front of them uplifting instances of what aspiration, dynamism and a hard work ethic can accomplish, even for people in their situation.
