The Epistle or Letter of Jude or referred to as Jude, is the second to the last text of the New Testament of the Christian Bible which was written by Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ and the brother of James the Just. The Book of Jude encourages many to preserve and deepen their beliefs with Jesus Christ and to bear in mind what the apostles said during their time. Jude contemplates on how Jesus saved His people from Egypt, he punished those who did not believe in Him, as well as those angels who sinned against Him and the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude reminds Christians to obey and love God all the time.

The Revised Version, Standard American Edition of the Bible, simply known as the American Standard Version (ASV), is a Bible translation into English language that was finished in 1901, with the production of the revision of the Old Testament; the revised New Testament had been published in 1900. It was originally noted by its complete title, but have other names, as the American Revised Version, the American Standard Revision, the American Standard Revised Bible, and the American Standard Edition. When its copyright was extended in 1929, it had come to be known as, the American Standard Version. Because of its distinction in seminaries, it was in the United States to sometimes call as the “Standard Bible”.

The American Standard Version, also known as The American Revision of 1901, started in 1870 to revise the Authorized Version or King James Bible of 1611. This work of revision gradually drafted the Revised Version (RV). American religious leaders for scholars were sent requests to lend a hand on the RV assignment. In 1871, thirty scholars were selected by Philip Schaff. The religious creed designated on the American committee were the Baptist, Congregationalist, Dutch Reformed, Friends, Methodist, Episcopal, Presbyterian, Protestant Episcopal, and Unitarian. These scholars started their project in 1872.
