Description

It is likely that A Christmas Carol stands as his best-known story, with new adaptations almost every year. It is also the most-filmed of Dickens’s stories, with many versions dating from the early years of cinema.
This simple morality tale with both pathos and its theme of redemption, sums up (for many) the true meaning of Christmas.
