Quite ingenious in the way he manages to twist and pull on the balance of events without actually losing control, the Author manages to create a harmonious blend of fast-paced life changes colored by characters that practically anyone can relate to at least in some sense. Perhaps the only real drawback of this entertaining book is that it’s somewhat short. Nevertheless, considered to be a true gem of literature and an easy, inspiring read, The Calico Cat will bring you into an atmosphere that will pick you up easily whenever you feel like life’s difficulties might be getting the upper hand on you. Fun, clean and family-friendly, the book also features a few unexpected twists that will make you gasp.
