A sequel to Alice in Wonderland but completely separate story Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There takes Alice on another trip into a land of delightful nonsense and prose where she meets over a dozen new and charming characters.

Exactly six months after her May 4th birthday adventure in Wonderland Alice is playing with two kittens in front of the fireplace on a brisk November evening. The mirrored image of the room captures Alice’s curiosity and she reaches out to it while wondering what things are like on the other side of the looking glass. First her hand passes through the surface and then Alice steps through to visit the world behind the mirrored glass.

Encounters along the way with Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the White Queen, Humpty Dumpty, the Lion and the Unicorn help her along. Each character acts out a nursery rhyme for Alice and before she knows it she has reached the eight levels. The eighth rank holds danger, promotion and triumph.
