Description

This was written using the fictional name, Arnold Fredericks. Ruth Morton is a famous international movie actress who appears to be so perfect. She is young, beautiful, rich, and a worthwhile acting job. On the contrary, she becomes the victim of a spiteful prowler who starts giving her off enigmatic intimidations. She did not mind those threats, then the prowler soon appears as a lawful and strange danger. She quickly must call for help from Richard and Grace Duvall, a husband and wife investigators who also find themselves rapt in an inscrutability where all of them become victims.

Richard Duvall said to his wife, Mrs. Morton and Ruth that in restructuring the mystery from the start, there is one piece of evidence that becomes prominent where there are no indications of specific signs. They are having a discussion in the library of the Morton apartment.

Mrs. Morton was puzzled on how letters were smartly placed in her daughter’s room. Richard answered that he will resolve it after. He told them that he will first run through the mystery of the admission of Miss Norman to him and then they must decide what action to take against her and her sister Miss Ford. He clarified that the woman’s name is not really Norman but Jane Ford. Norman is just a false name. The two sisters arrived in New York and stayed in a village close to Rochester. Miss Ford is employed in the movie studio while the other one who calls herself Miss Norman works as a stenographer. These sisters are suspected of such mysterious threats given to the famous actress as well as to everyone? Will they finally solve the case?
