Donald Shaw narrates on how he was captured in a rainy and gloomy November by a brawny policeman in a rain cape and had a deep Somersetshire tone of his voice. He thought of the rain telling him, “falleth on the just and on the unjust”. His life suddenly changed on the day he was put into prison. He was brought to the office of the solicitor general, Mr. White, with whom he had past financial business dealings with, particularly to a new loan on a bill of exchange. It should be differently implied that any insinuations he might make to this person’s careers are not to be misconstrued. He made sure that he had honest and legit dealings and had great respect for his reliability and propensity for business, legal and other matters.

But he was accused of dishonest business transactions which he thought did not dissuade him from carefully carrying out the transaction as a business matter. It was likewise immediate in punitive justice and critical of multiplying an offense.
