Born Again is a utopian fantasy novel which was written by a British writer, Alfred Lawson. It is about q weird story of John Convert, a man with no direction in life, a seafarer who had a brawl with his fellow ship crew and is tossed out in the open sea. He drowned and went unconscious, he found himself waking up on an island the next day and went agog when he saw giant human beings living on the island. Those giant human beings are called as the Sagemen in the subterranean city. He became friends with Arletta, a giant woman who guides him through the island that will magically make him correct his life into a better one.

Alfred William Lawson was a professional baseball player, manager and league promoter a pioneer in the US aircraft industry, wrote two early aviation trade publications. His work, Born Again, is based on the famous Utopian fantasy Looking Backward by Edward Bellamy, a person who goes ahead of his metaphysical side of his course and applied the science of Lawsonomy. He is often remarked as the one who invented the airliner and was awarded many times, but he could not conform. He is the founder of the Lawson Aircraft Company in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he established a military training aircraft and also the Lawson Airplane Company in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to establish aircrafts. Unfortunately, his Lawson L-4 Midnight Liner crashed in its trial takeoff and it was his last chance for progress in the aviation industry.

He adhered to healthy way of living like vegetarianism, and presumed to discover on how to live a very long life. He also made his strange theories in parallel to Einstein’s Theory of Relativity in physics such as penetrability, suction and pressure, and zig-zag-and-swirl, and he wrote several works about these theories.
