This is probably depicting of the burdens and trials of a man deeply suffering from the shadows of life. We all have problems and concerns about almost every matter. We fret about petty things how much more with bigger issues. But most of all, we worry about financial needs, education, unemployment, peer influences and the like. The most challenging thing is we must find a way to resolve these issues we are currently facing. But we must never be troubled because the Lord, our God is always there to guide us with everything including our decision making. He takes hold of our fate and destiny. All we must do is pray intently and He will gladly lift our burdens. Henry Charles Beeching was a British reverend, novelist and poet. Henry’s father was JPG Beeching of Bexhill in Sussex. He attended the City of London School and at Balliol College in Oxford. He had his holy orders and started his profession in a Liverpool parish, at Mossley Hill. He later became the Rector of Yattendon; Clark Lecturer at Trinity College in Cambridge; instructor of Pastoral Theology at King’s College London; Chaplain of Lincoln’s Inn; Canon of Westminster and Dean of Norwich until he passed away. He penned an account on Francis Atterbury. He was also best known for these books: Love in Idleness: A Volume of Poems in 1883 with J. W. Mackail and J. B. B. Nichols; Love’s Looking Glass in 1892 with J. W. Mackail and J. B. B. Nichols; A Paradise of English Poetry, an anthology collected by Henry such as masterpieces by A. W., Joseph Addison, Sir Francis Bacon, Richard Barnfield, Francis Beaumont, Thomas Lovell Beddoes, William Blake, Nicholas Breton, Emily Jane Brontë, Fulk Greville, William Browne, Robert Burton, George Gordon, Lord Byron, Thomas Campbell, Thomas Campion, Thomas Carew, George Chapman, Thomas Chatterton and so much more; Pages from a Private Diary in 1898 written unknowingly.
